At MicroLove by Alexis, healing isn’t about struggle or perfection — it’s about remembering who we truly are beneath all the layers of survival and expectation. Deep within each of us lives a child — the part that still dreams, laughs freely, and sees magic in every sunrise. This is the inner child, and reconnecting with them is one of the most profound paths to healing and wholeness.
Through sacred ceremony, I help people gently return to this tender space within. In the stillness and presence of ritual, we remember what it feels like to be curious, open-hearted, and alive. Each ceremony becomes a bridge between the adult self — shaped by responsibility and resilience — and the child self — rooted in play, innocence, and wonder.
My work with Los Niños Santos, the Little Saint Children, carries the wisdom of ancient traditions that remind us healing doesn’t have to be hard or painful. The medicine of these sacred beings teaches us that growth can be soft, colorful, and full of joy. We can meet our emotions with curiosity instead of fear, and explore our inner worlds as playgrounds of discovery rather than battlegrounds of self-criticism.
In our modern world, we often equate healing with effort — shadow work, deep processing, or emotional release. While these are valuable, true transformation begins when we also invite in play, creativity, and love. In ceremony, we sing, breathe, and open our hearts. We allow laughter to mix with tears and wonder to mingle with wisdom. We come to understand that our wounds are not signs of brokenness but invitations to remember our light.
Reconnecting with your inner child is an act of self-compassion. It is choosing to see yourself through softer eyes — to forgive, to release, and to dream again. When we honor the child within, we rekindle our capacity to experience life with awe, to love without fear, and to heal without force.
