A Sacred Pause for a Historic Moment
As 2025 comes to a close, I’ve officially completed my group ceremonies for the year. I’ll be taking a sacred pause before traveling to Oaxaca, Mexico this October for the grand opening of Historias en Memorias Mazatecas — a community museum dedicated to preserving the ancestral Mazatec mushroom traditions.
This project, led by Inti García Flores and his family, began over eight years ago when a priceless archive of photos, recordings, and oral histories was at risk of being lost. Thanks to the vision and devotion of many hearts — Mariela González, Paul Stamets, and a powerful collective of friends of the mushrooms, protectors of plants, and stewards of ancestral truth — this dream is now becoming reality. It’s a living example of what can happen when community unites around something sacred: remembrance, reciprocity, and love for the Earth.
It’s been my honor to support this project through MicroLove, dedicating a portion of ceremony proceeds to help bring this vision to life. And I want to say thank you — to every single person who has sat in ceremony with me. Because of you, I get to stand alongside my children in Oaxaca and witness this historic moment. Your participation has allowed me to keep learning, to give back, and to deepen my own connection to the medicine so I can continue to share it with others.
This path takes deep dedication — of time, energy, and heart. Every ceremony, every offering, every act of service is rooted in love and the intention to make this work more accessible, ethical, and honoring of its origins. I’m constantly investing in my growth and refinement, because the medicine and those who come to it deserve the best care and attention.
