Alexis Gonzalez | Curandera, Healer, Coach

Awaken to your power.

This isn’t therapy. This isn’t another self-help tool.

This is a profound, life-altering experience.

My 8-hour Sacred Mushroom Ceremonies go beyond mindset shifts—they dissolve conditioning, shatter limitations, and reconnect you to the most powerful, grounded version of yourself. This is where your breakthrough begins. Clients often arrive after exploring traditional talk therapy, Internal Family Systems (parts work), EMDR, ketamine-assisted therapy, psychiatric medications like SSRI’s or periods of self medicating, family constellations, and energy-based modalities like Reiki.

While these approaches can be deeply supportive for insight, stabilization, and symptom relief many people still report the same experience:

The trauma is understood.
It’s been processed.
Yet it still lives in the body.

This work is different.

This is where we go to the root — where trauma is held in the nervous system and the body itself.
Not just talked through.
Not just managed.

Fully released.Ceremony works on the emotional, energetic, and somatic levels at once creating real, lasting change in your body and in your life.

Research shows that a single psychedelic-assisted ceremony can provide the emotional and psychological healing equivalent to 10 years of talk therapy.

That’s because this work bypasses the surface and gets to the root—quickly, precisely, and permanently.

“Alexis is truly gifted at what she does. She is well-educated in the subject and truly cares about your healing journey. All of this allows for an amazing experience before, during, and after. I experienced a spiritual awakening I’d never experienced before. If you follow her guidelines, trust her, and come with an open heart, you will have no regrets. I believe in her work and wish the whole world could experience her ceremony.”

One ceremony,

A lifetime shift.

Indigenous shaman, psilocybin mushrooms, peyote, ayahuasca. Psychedelic therapist.

A single mushroom ceremony can unlock the kind of healing most people spend years chasing in conventional therapy.

This isn’t about coping. It’s about clearing what’s been weighing you down—so you can finally move forward as the version of you that feels true.

Here’s what people often walk away with:

  • A complete release from old trauma, emotional baggage, and stories that no longer serve.

  • A radical shift in perspective—like your heart and mind are finally synced. The separation dissolves, and you move forward in inner alignment.

  • A deep sense of self-trust and inner peace that can’t be shaken.

  • A nervous system reset: less fear, more freedom.

  • Relationships that feel healthier, softer, more real.

  • Clarity on your purpose—and the confidence to live it.

  • A reconnection to your power, your truth, and the you that’s been waiting to rise.

Beyond Coping

Stop Managing & Finally Start Living a Life You Love

You’re not here for symptom management.

You’re done with temporary fixes. You’re done replaying the same stories in your head, paying someone just to listen, going on mood-boosting retreats, numbing your feelings, or surface-level "healing" that fades after a few weeks. You’re done chasing the next thing. Done hoping this one will work.

This is about finally living—fully, clearly, and without the weight you’ve been carrying for years.

You’ve spent enough time trying to feel okay.
You want to feel at peace and genuinely excited about your life—not just going through the motions, counting down the days. You want to fall in love with your life again—even with the ups and downs. To feel alive, not just surviving.

The problem is, no one has taken you deep enough. No one has helped you get to the root of the pain, the illness, the patterns that keep looping—until now.

This is the difference between self-improvement—and full transformation.

The version of you that’s grounded, healed, and fully in your power. The one you’re proud to become. The one you fall in love with—and never abandon again. The version you’ve been longing for all along.

This isn’t talk therapy.
Therapy can help you understand your story. It can give language to your pain. But insight isn’t the same as transformation. You can name the wound—and still live from it.
Still feel stuck. Still carry the weight. Still repeat the same patterns, even when you know better.

Ceremony is different.
It doesn’t just help you see the pattern—it helps you break it. It reaches the parts of you that insight alone can’t touch. It rewires your nervous system, restores your relationship to yourself, and brings you back home to the version of you that feels clear, grounded, and fully alive.

The version you’ve been trying to reach for years.

“I attended Microlove’s January plant ceremony, and it was truly Life-changing.”

“The level of care and intention Alexis brings—before, during, and after the ceremony—is impeccable.

I arrived ready to release, yet the Niños Santos reminded me of something equally powerful: to play, to dance, to take up space in this world without holding back. Alexis’ intentionally curated playlist guided me through deep emotions that were ready to move and be released. Throughout the experience, I felt completely supported and safe.

I had attended a mushroom ceremony in the past that left me apprehensive, so I carried some hesitation going in. What made all the difference here was that this ceremony took place during the daylight, which helped me feel more secure. Even more important was the rapport I already had with Alexis—she truly listened to my concerns and took the time to walk me through her process. Because of her presence and care, I felt ready to give the Niños Santos a second chance.

Now, I feel deeply grounded and safe with this medicine. I’m open to working with it again in the future—and I will absolutely be returning to Microlove.

Is the investment worth it? Without a doubt—hell yes! The ceremony itself—from the music, to ancestral messages, to the closing share and beautifully prepared meal—was intentional and exquisite. Beyond that, she provided a thoughtful integration packet to support continued journaling and growth, ensuring the experience doesn’t fade once the ceremony ends.

I’m so looking forward to my post-ceremony 1:1 and a future ceremony with Alexis and am deeply grateful for this experience.

This isn’t symptom management. It’s for those who are done cycling through prescriptions, diagnoses, and temporary relief. If you’ve tried everything—therapy, medications, specialists—and still feel like something’s missing, you’re not wrong.

    Because there’s a deeper layer.

In the places where emotions were stored instead of processed.

Healing is possible—as long as you’re willing to feel what’s been suppressed.

If you’re living with chronic pain, anxiety, burnout, disconnection—or just a quiet heaviness you can’t explain—this ceremony is for you.

But to help you start living again.

“Alexis’ work is truly transformative. Her ceremony didn’t just help me release and heal emotional trauma—it brought deep healing to my physical body.”

The Ceremony

The Basics

  • Psilocybin is a naturally-occurring compound found in certain mushrooms. Once ingested, the body converts it into psilocin—the compound that interacts with serotonin receptors to create an altered state of consciousness.

Psilocybin has been shown to promote neuroplasticity, helping the brain form new connections and release rigid thought patterns. This is why so many people report life-changing breakthroughs after a single experience.

    In ceremony, psilocybin can help:
    – Heal emotional trauma at the root
    – Interrupt cycles of anxiety, depression, and burnout
    – Support physical healing by reducing inflammation and rebalancing the nervous system
    – Reconnect you to your body, intuition, and purpose

  • My ceremonies are rooted in the Mazatec tradition, which emphasizes integrity and heart in healing. Niños Santos (“Holy Children” or “Little Saint Children”) is the name renowed Mazatec healer Maria Sabina called “magic mushrooms.” The Mazatec healers of Oaxaca, Mexico, view Niños Santos as living entities with divine healing power.

  • The effects of psilocybin are highly variable and depend on your mindset and the environment, but generally within an hour of ingestion, you’ll begin to experience shifts in consciousness, perception, and mood. Psychedelic journeys typically last between 4-6 hours and can shift throughout the experience. Some people experience some nausea, which can be alleviated with breathing and movement.

During your journey, you may experience visions, release stored emotions, access lost memories, and gain deeper insights into your life and relationships. It can be an overwhelming experience, which is why I’m there to help guide you before, during and after the ceremony.

Psilocybin is not known to be physically addictive. Current research has not identified a known lethal overdose from psilocybin alone.

  • Research indicates that psilocybin can induce neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to change and reorganize thought patterns, enabling people to find new ways to process anxiety, depression or deeply embedded trauma. It can also be effective for more spiritual explorations.

Potential immediate and long-lasting benefits of psilocybin:

    • Reduced negative mood and increased positive mood

    • Increased feelings of tolerance, understanding and empathy

    • Getting unstuck; release of fears that allow you to take a big leap or identify the next step toward transformation or achieving the next level

    • Accelerated emotional/psychological healing

    • Happier mood because of the release of past stories and new compassion for people who you may feel have wronged you

    • More compassion for self and self-love

    • More alignment with your purpose

  • In clinical studies, psilocybin has been shown to be high benefit and low risk. It’s generally safe and well-tolerated. It’s not known to be physically addictive and there are no known cases of overdosing with psilocybin alone.

So-called “bad trips” are usually the result of an uncontrolled environment, mixing with alcohol and/or other substances, or taking too much recreationally without intention.

Possible physical side effects include nausea, vomiting, disorientation, and headaches. I will be there to guide you through any possible negative side effects.

  • Mushroom ceremonies are not for you, if you:

    • Are looking for a recreational experience

    • Are on antibiotics

    • Are on lithium medication

    • Have a personal or family history of bipolar, schizophrenia, or other personality disorders

    • Are pregnant.

“Alexis holds space in such a beautiful and authentic way. I’m super sensitive to others’ energy, so it made me nervous to do my healing with others present, but working with Alexis was awesome. Los Niños Santos had many messages for me about healing my lineage and my own traumas and I was able to connect with and work with ancestors and spirit guides to really move things forward. I felt safe and held in a beautiful community of other mostly latina or Bipoc women. It was a beautiful experience that I'd definitely recommend to others.”

— Emelina

“I had a beautiful heart-opening experience during this ceremony. It was my first experience with mushrooms and I was afraid of having a ‘bad trip,’ but Alexis puts great care and intent into the ceremonies and it is felt in the experience. She does an amazing job at creating a sacred and safe space for all guests. I highly recommend attending a future ceremony!”

Sacred Reciprocity

My work is deeply rooted in honoring the Mazatec lineage, as well as the Indigenous teachers who have shared their medicine, wisdom, rituals, and ways of relating to the sacred—and who have safeguarded these medicines through generations of care, responsibility, and resistance.

While my previous contributions supported a Mazatec cultural preservation project that concluded in October 2025, my reciprocity has now been intentionally redirected home.

Beginning in 2026, 10% of ceremony proceeds are donated to Indigenous led care including the Sogorea Te’ Land Trust, an Indigenous women-led organization dedicated to rematriation—returning Indigenous land to Indigenous people—and cultivating urban gardens, community spaces, and ceremonial sites throughout the Bay Area, where I was born and where I carry out this work.

Beyond financial contributions, my commitment to reciprocity is woven into how I practice—by sourcing ceremonial instruments, clothing, altar items, medicine tools directly from Indigenous makers and artisans, and by maintaining relationships rooted in respect, consent, and fair exchange.

By participating in my ceremonies, you are not only engaging in a profound personal healing experience—you are supporting Indigenous sovereignty, cultural continuity, and living systems of care that extend far beyond a single ceremony.
